Karen and Graeme, the owner-operators of The Landings new Unichem pharmacy are excited about working alongside the other businesses at Wigram Skies to provide the community with a wide range of services.

The well being of the Wigram community is the focus for both owners and their Manager Tom, a clinical pharmacist who is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. That focus is expected to be reflected in numerous ways from health weeks dedicated to specific conditions to assistance with fundraising for local causes.

Unichem Wigram Pharmacy provide a wide range of services including triage and treatment of minor ailments and the provision of flu vaccinations. In addition the Medicines Management Service see their pharmacists visiting patients in their own homes, liaising with GPs and devising strategies to ensure those patients can understand and manage their medicines.

Natural Health is very important at Unichem Wigram pharmacy and a trained naturopath is on site regularly to offer free consultations. Other services on offer include a postal agency, a dry cleaning depot, digital photo processing, cosmetics and giftware.

Karen and Graeme have recognised the aviation heritage of Wigram in their pharmacy design with LED lights to mimic landing lights set into the floor and a front counter made from aircraft grade pressed aluminium. Unichem Wigram Pharmacy will have two consultation rooms where customers can meet with anyone from the pharmacist to the naturopath without fear of having to discuss personal information at the counter.
